Santander Overdraft Charges @ www.santander.co.uk
They have many projects on the go in the UK and we recently took a look at their Consumer Finance division. It is a good time to uncover the Santander overdraft charges through www.santander.co.uk, since their new fees are at this time soon springing into action. If we start with the Everyday Current Account, you will now pay £1 a day (there is no longer a monthly cap at 20 days). The unarranged fee has risen to £6 a day (with again no cap) whilst the paid and unpaid transaction fees have been lowered from £25 to £10. The same specs have been set with the 123 Current Account.
This costs £2 per month, but it is equipped with cashback and interest bonuses. The interest heads up to 3% on balances between £3000 and £20,000. With both accounts, there is always a small £12 buffer. Just to add that they have a Defaqto 5 star rated switching service that grants free overdrafts for the first 4 months. Their Student account has been well received and this includes interest-free overdrafts whilst you’re studying. There are other accounts including a basic offering, but we have covered the primary ones above. The newly enforced Santander overdraft charges aren’t cheap and the buffer is low, but 123 is certainly a top market choice.
