This product extends across a full monthly period and you are charged interest at 30% and so you pay £30 per £100 borrowed. FPS transfers are optional and they come at the price of £5 and so you would be looking at a total same day charge of £35/£100. The Get a Payday Loan Fast loans are securely processed via www.getapaydayloanfast.co.uk and once approved full account servicing is provided. Their opening times are between Monday and Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. This firm has took on a CCTA member place that is a good seal of trust, that makes up for the lack of reviews.
This monthly service has been packaged together well. The price is a little expensive with fast funding, but there are companies out there that charge much more for FPS fees. It would be ideal to also see weekend funding available. They don’t advertise this service online and their search engine presence isn’t the best. As I’m aware, a few popular brokers use them on their lending panel. Onesys Financial only currently appears to offer cash through this brand. Bridge Payday and Ninja Loans were two other companies that were attached to their Licence, but these websites are no longer functioning. The Onesys site itself is just used for corporate purposes.
Rapid Cash Ltd isn’t too well known across the sector. I was surprised to not hear about them sooner though since they have been trading for such a long time. It is clear that they have plenty of market experience behind them. Although no SSL is assigned once you reach the main site for the first time, once you head into “New Customers” the encryption then comes into force no matter which page you visit. No customer login is provided over at www.rapidcashadvance.co.uk (or at the other site) and so you would have to ring them if you for instance wished to clear early or rollover your loan.
This payday lender opens their doors between Monday and Friday from 8am to 6pm and so there is currently no weekend coverage. Although this company has gone underground over their trading time, I have noticed their adverts springing up in Google search over the 2014 year and so perhaps they are starting to step up their promotional tactics. The pricing in place here is set well considering that you do receive a monthly loan under the 30% rate that includes a same day transfer. Just to add that this company isn’t affiliated to Speedy Cash who have a few stores under this same name over in the United States.
This is a complete cost with no extra charge being required for their Faster Payments Service transfer. When the FCA Cap comes into force in 2015, all lenders can charge no more than £24 per £100 over the month. This firm will only have to make a minor change to their service pricing in order to become compliant (many other firms may struggle to adapt). The Payday United site at www.payday-united.co.uk includes no account servicing and they don’t encrypt the applications either. This brand is relatively new and so this may change soon. It would be advised for now to just use The Quick Loan Shop where logins and SSL are fitted.
As the case there, no operational days/times are disclosed here, but standard working hours between Monday and Friday should be expected. There are no reviews for this company circulating across the web. We only managed to find them out by running a search through their Interim Permission Number. Back when we did this we also spotted that they have a company called Loans Guru although they only trade as brokers there. Obviously the higher sum of £1000 for this featured product may be attractive on paper, but it is unlikely that first time applicants would be accepted for anything more than £400 or so over a single month.
Between £80 and £150 can be received by first time applicants and £750 is the top sum available to anyone returning. Stonemere Finance have actually carried out a good job on www.321cash.co.uk that has a vibrant design and they also provide a login member area as well as using SSL throughout the site. There is some confusion since they reference a CCTA member number at the bottom of each page, but they don’t mention this membership within their about, complaint, or FAQ pages. To qualify for a loan here you must be aged at 21 or above and be a UK resident earning £750 each month.
The office opening times are listed as Monday to Thursday (8am to 8pm) and they close a few hours early on a Friday (8am to 5.30pm). Overall, I think this payday brand has been put together well with the main limitation covering pricing. Although 30% over the month is considered as the market average, that £20 same day funding fee is excessive and so I would personally opt with slow funding to avoid this. Just remember as well that if you can find a guarantor then you may wish to check out their Consollo product that has become central to Stonemere since it was set upon the market.
The monthly interest is set at £30 per £100 borrowed and the card verification comes in at £0.51. To keep the costs down you may wish to choose their slow transfer option. Otherwise, same day funding is priced at £5. I spotted that this fee was originally pitched at £15, but they have brought it down to the realistic price that you should be paying for an FPS transfer. Each application is securely taken at www.cashfloat.co.uk, but there is currently no login facility handed to the customers. Their times of operation are also restricted to Monday to Friday through the times of 9am until 5pm.
Cash Float has ambitions to become a major player in the local payday sector. Since launching they have already received listings on a wide range of comparison/review websites and so they have started out well. The problem as I see it is that there are already plenty of established lenders charging less than 30% over the month (including speedy funding). Many of the emerging short term loan brands (Peachy, Sunny etc) are also open over the weekend. We are really looking for newcomers that can bring something new to the table that you will won’t find elsewhere. They are of course new and so they may well later adapt.
They do reward existing customers though who won’t have pay for this speedy transfer. The Trusted Quid loans brand has flew under the radar, but as noted they have started to attract more attention over 2014. From checks made, there aren’t many reviews across the web that makes it difficult to determine how well their service is being received. There is a secure Trusted Quid login attached to www.trustedquid.co.uk and they do hold BCCA membership (and a place with the CSA although this covers debt collection). If you are opting for their same day funding option then the application must be processed before 3.30pm.
These times apply to Monday and Friday only. Applicants must be in full time employment and be earning at least £1000 each month. There is certainly room for improvement, since various lenders trade over the weekends and we have introduced a number of monthly services that charges less than 30%. It is good to see that they do at least hand their loyal customers with free fast transfers. There aren’t many online Scottish lenders, with most of the business being played out on the high street (there are approx 200 shops). There was actually a recent summit in Glasgow where they were campaigning to take down this booming industry.
In comparison, Tide U Over has been crafted to a higher standard and you will see there that they provide a calculator that shows that you can pay less depending on when your next payday is (this is not the case here). To join £30 per £100 interest, there will be a required fast funding fee priced at £5 and so over the month you would pay £35/£100 (see the main company profile for more info on their pricing). The available sums range from £100 to £500 (£400 for first time customers). Unlike the fellow companies, there is currently no encryption used at www.lauralends.co.uk, although account logins are provided. As an update, SSL is now added, but you must enter HTTPS manually.
These Laura Lends loans are issued between Monday and Friday and applications must be put through before 5pm to trigger a same day payment. One thing of note when looking through their FAQ was that although they do credit check, it is stated that bad credit is accepted that includes those that have a CCJ. This is interesting to see, since CCJs are usually massive red flags to most of the payday lenders that you will find across the market. With a range of lending brands now active, it is clear that this Cardiff-based firm is emerging well. It is good to finally see a fresh lender launch for 2014 and they have now been joined by a few others as well (Updates Here).
New customers can receive £50 to £500 and a giant returning sum of £1500 is possible. This is headed as a monthly product, but they do charge interest daily and so depending on when you are next paid, savings could be made. The £100 30 day interest charge would come in at £24 and fast funding is optional at £15. The 0.8% daily rate fits the upcoming 2015 cap, although 0.8% must be a complete service charge and so they will eventually have to update this. The costs have at least greatly improved to how they were when we last profiled them whereby the fees were very excessive.
Secure account logins are equipped to www.paydayoverdraft.com. Before applying here you will need to quickly register with them. The Payday Overdraft loan processing takes place between Monday and Friday (9am/5pm). Whilst they were once a no credit check loan provider, they have completely gone the other way now on the strict side. Other than a required full time wage of £1100 each month they will need 2 month’s of bank statements plus faxed ID and this is the default for all customers. If you are happy to do this, then you can at least benefit from competitive pricing here (when selecting the free slow funding).
With that £39 price tag, the daily rate stands at 1.3%. This is headed as covering interest and fees, but this actually doesn’t include the fast transfer that is optional and comes at the price of £15. If selected, this amount is deducted from the loan amount delivered to you. I did notice a WageMe loans promo code box that is designed to get rid of this fast fee. There is no sign of any live codes across the web though. When entering on to www.wageme.com for the first time you will be welcomed with eye catching graphics and this website is fully equipped with secure logins.
On a recent check, I spotted that they have become FLA members. There is no reference to their times of operation, but Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm) is likely. There is no doubt that this lender has progressed well in their short trading time. Their Facebook page has already filled up with 5500 fans. If you visit this page you will see their new adverts that have been placed on the side of taxis across their local area of London. If you are interested in applying then it would be important to track down a promo code, as £15 is excessive for an FPS transfer. Failing that, I would just opt with slow funding.
Even if this is in a few days you pay a full monthly charge. This pricing has been competitively set though. It comes at the price of £20 per £100. You may just pay this alone, or you can instead opt for their FPS same day option for £5 extra. Although this service started out monthly, they have greatly enhanced the flexibility here. These Kabayan Finance loans can now be taken over 3, 6 or even 12 months. The £300 same day cost over 3 is £109.94 whilst over 6 you would pay £154.94. If you went with £1000 over the full year then the charge would be £905.
Applicants must be aged at 21 and be in full time employment. They take secure applications at www.kabayanfinance.co.uk and there is a login facility here, although this is currently not functioning. This BCCA member is open between Monday and Friday from 9am to 7pm and they are open on a Saturday from 10am to 2pm. If you used this lender over a month then the service charge is good and the newly listed prices over the extended 3 and 6 month terms in particular are highly competitive. A large following for this brand has already started to form, as seen on their Facebook page.
