We have referenced this company as Cash Central USA, to differentiate them from their UK Operation that they have now closed down. This brand is a part of Community Choice Financial Inc. CCFI owns a cluster of check cashing and payday stores. Cash 1 and CheckSmart are notably popular, although this featured brand as found at www.cashcentral.com is the most well known. Not much information surrounds the background of this lender, but as we’re aware they started out in the year 1996. As noted, the UK division has closed down and so it is unclear if the American operation will manage to survive over the coming years.

It is a little concerning that they have stopped updating their social media pages. Their contact page sections for chat and phone support also have “Currently Unavailable” stamps. When we investigated their Californian coverage, they offered up to $255 and the charge was $17.64/$100. However, they note that the repayment can only range between 4 and 18 days. They may restrict this so that when a customer has repaid a loan they can get them on to a new agreement quickly with the intention of greater profits. They do offer the choice of an installment product though that carries a 24 month term for sums of $2501 to $5000.
